How do you determine pricing for my items?
Our pricing combines historical sales data from our own database in addition to data from other websites and applications. We consider current market trends, and item-specific factors including brand prestige, condition, and season. The luxury resale market is continually monitored, and it informs our pricing strategy to ensure your items are competitively priced to sell in a reasonable period of time for the best price.
Can I influence pricing?
We welcome feedback, but final pricing is determined by us, using market intelligence.
What happens to the pieces that are unsuitable for listing or remain unsold?
Pieces that are unsuitable for listing or that remain unsold after the 12-week listing period, may either be returned to you or donated to one of our charity partners (terms apply). You need to indicate your preference on your Consignment Agreement at time of submitting your pieces. You will be liable for shipping costs to return your items.
What is the payment timeline and process?
Payments are currently made during the first week of each calendar month. Payments are processed via secure bank transfer or PayPal.
Is there a minimum consignment period?
There is minimum 12-week listing period to ensure that pieces have adequate market exposure. Items cannot be returned to you during this period.
On your Consignment Agreement, there is an option for you to request the return of any unsold items at the end of the 12-week listing period. If you did not select this option on your agreement, we will either remove your pieces from our site, or de-activate your pieces and re-list them at a later stage.
What about discounts and sales?
We occasionally run promotions, and your pieces may be included in these sales events. In this instance, payouts will be adjusted accordingly.
After 9 weeks of listing, the listing price of your pieces will automatically be reduced to maximise its chances of being sold. The maximum discount that we will apply is 30% of the original listing price.
Do I need original packaging and documentation?
Original receipts, dust bags, and accessories are not required. However, if you have them, inclusion will positively influence pricing.
What brands and items do you accept?
See the list of brands that we accept and do not accept here. These are subject to change without notice, so it is important to check this list before returning your consignment.
How are pieces processed?
Each piece is individually inspected by experienced staff members under specialised lighting. We inspect fabric for signs of wear, check for pulled threads, holes, stains, missing buttons, faulty zippers and unravelling stitching. Should it appear that any piece has not been laundered or drycleaned prior to submission, we will reject it.
What are the reasons for rejecting items?
It is never in our interest to reject items that could be listed. We want to protect our brand and the trust of shoppers for both our benefit and make sure that sales experiences exceed expectations. We reject items that do not meet our quality standards or styles that are outdated and not likely to sell. We also reject items if authenticity cannot be determined or for hygiene reasons. Missing hallmarks, size and care labels may also be grounds for rejecting items.
Do I pay for shipping of my pieces?
Consignment Packs cost $20 for one, or $40 for three bags. Our courier service costs a flat rate of $50. Other than these fees, there are no further cost associated with processing, listing, marketing and selling your items. Our in-store concierge service is complimentary.
How long does processing take?
Typically 1–2 weeks, depending on volume.
How will I find out which pieces have been accepted?
Once we have received your consignment, our staff will process them and email you with details of pieces that qualify for listing.
