At THE CLOSET, we sell great quality items that are second hand. We inspect each item before we list it for sale. We do our best to accurately describe the items that we sell. We do our best to photograph items true to colour and aspect. THE CLOSET cannot guarantee any item will be true to size, and therefore, we cannot guarantee that any item will fit you.

THE CLOSET will refund orders that do not match our description and items that do not fit, once these have been returned with THE CLOSET’s tags and, if applicable, the original price tags are intact.

THE CLOSET will not refund orders for postage prepaid thrift bags. 

All items should be in the same condition as when you received them and if they came with tags, these should be intact. 

Returns will only be considered if returned to and received by THE CLOSET within 30 calendar days of purchase.

Refunds will be made via the same payment method that you used when buying the returned item. Items purchased using PayPal or a credit card will be refunded via the same payment method. Items purchased using store credit will be refunded via store credit. You cannot claim any more benefit than the amount actually paid for the item. THE CLOSET will not refund promotions and discount.

Refunds will be made within 7 days of return orders being received.

How to return an item to THE CLOSET

Log into your account on THE CLOSET's website, and select the button for the Resolution Centre.  Open a New Dispute and follow the prompts.  Enter "1" next to each item you wish to return, and submit the dispute.  This will notify our Customer Care Representative that a new return has been lodged.  

You will receive an email enclosing a prepaid return postage label from Australia Post. Please follow the instructions in the email.

Please ensure your name and/or your order number is clearly denoted in your return parcel, or you risk your returns being unidentified and your refund going unpaid.  

Mail your item back to THE CLOSET, ensuring enough time so that it is received within the 30 day deadline.  If you are concerned about your return arriving on time, please email customercare@thecloset.com.au BEFORE your return deadline.
