Every luxury item we list is carefully inspected and verified before it goes live—so you can shop (or consign) with complete confidence. When luxury is authenticated, buyers can purchase with authority, without any guesswork or anxiety. Sellers earn more as verified items command stronger resale value. In this, the craftmanship and brand heritage of the listed pieces are protected and re-circulated responsibly.
We use a layered authentication process, combining specialist inspection with advanced verification technology. This helps us combat counterfeiting efficiently and effectively. N.B. Certain brands are only accepted on the condition that we obtain independent verification of authenticity.
Every luxury item consigned with us is examined by our trained staff for brand-specific authenticity indicators, including: Construction, materials and finishing, Stitching, hardware and craftsmanship consistency, Serial numbers, date codes, hallmarks and engravings, Condition standards aligned to the brand. Items that don’t meet our criteria are declined and not listed.
We enlist Entrupy, and Legitgrail, global leaders in AI-powered luxury authentication for bags, wallets, designer clothing and sneakers. Product images are digitally analysed and compared against vast databases of verified authentic and counterfeit items. These authenticators achieve an average accuracy rate of more than 99% and are trusted by leading luxury resellers and customers worldwide.
In instances where we have obtained independent authentication at the time of resale, we will include the Certificate of Authenticity to your purchase. If you would specifically like independent verification of an item’s authenticity, we can arrange it for a small fee. It’s a simple upgrade that protects the long-term value of your investment.
Third party authentication will attract a fee of $40 per item except in the instance of Hermes pieces, which costs $120 per certification. In the instances of consignment, the authentication fee will be deducted from the first payment made to Consignors.
We authenticate because trust is earned through consistent action, reliability and transparency. In the rare instance you suspect an item purchased from us is inauthentic, you may return the item and we will refund you. The terms and conditions stated in our Returns Policy will apply.
